Starvin' Marvin
This morning was very interesting here at the Petroff Residence. I was getting Gabriel his breakfast together and trying to deal with our cell phone company at the same time. So I put some rolled oats and cut bananas onto his plate. It has a suction cup at the bottom so it'll stay on his high chair tray. I put his breakfast on the table and went back in the living room for a moment to deal with the customer service lady. I swear my back was turned for, like, thirty seconds, which I guess was long enough. Misters had managed to grab the towel his food was set on (also on the table), and pull it to his level (on the dining room floor). I turned around and he was covered in rolled oats with gobs of banana in his mouth and in both hands. I guess he was a starvin' marvin. I didn't want to pick him up and deal with the mess when I knew he could clean himself off better. So I picked up the food and let him finish eating what was in his mouth and both palms. Then I put him in his high chair to finish his breakfast. Mom of the Year award, letting eleven month old eat off the floor.
