Well, we started a new family tradition. Josh, Gabriel and I joined his family at PDZA's Zoolights. Even though it was a chilly night, we all managed to stay warm with a thermos of hot chocolate and a jacket on the boy (courtesy of mommy's Black Friday shopping). It was so beautiful. We read in the paper that there was over 100,000 lights that lit up the park. They had amazing displays, varying from trees with lights and birds catching prey in a sequential event. There was even a monkey that swung across the top of one of the roofs. Too many light displays to mention. Gabriel was taking it all in, completely exhausted from the days events. He woke up at went shopping with me in the morning, and then was bundled up and loaded onto daddy's back for Zoolights. He was so warm and cozy that it was the brightness of the lights and the loud conversations that kept him awake. He even tried to catch a little shut eye while riding the carousel with daddy.
Definitely a family tradition worth repeating.
