Moving Picture

Josh and I are going to make some cards and send them to family and friends to let them know that we've moved. We keep getting things forwarded from people obviously unaware that we no longer live in downtown Puyallup. This is the picture I'm planning on using, when I stop being lazy and have them made.

Swimming with Alligators

We purchased Gabriel an Alligator swimming pool yesterday. Perhaps it was the animal choice that we should have thought about more thoroughly. Misters was having nothing to do with it. I put him in it, and the tears started streaming down his face. He was mad, screaming about how mean mommy was for putting him in there, wanting out and away from the green creature. Good thing I didn't spend all day with the hose hooked up to the kitchen sink to get hot/warm water for his little body instead of hose water. Good thing I didn't heat up and boil pots full of water to make it even warmer still. It was like 75 degree water easy. My friend, Nikki, held the hose on the kitchen sink (and Josh did later to make it even more warmer) while I tried to warm the water up on the other end by releasing some cold water and hosing in warm water. When I got in the pool with him (with a selection of his favorite bath toys) he was happy go lucky, as if to say, "Why are you in my pool mom?" Kids.

New Garden, New Play Area?

Josh built me a couple of raised beds this past weekend. And yesterday we were able to finally put something in them. A couple of weeks late, but I think we'll be alright. There has only been one warm day here since the start of this month, and the seeds call for warm weather when planting. It was so adorable. Gabriel has this little tykes play shovel and he was following daddy around trying to "plant" things too. Daddy would get done with one section, and Gabriel would come right behind him messing with it. Aside from trying to see if dirt was one of his food groups, Gabriel helped daddy and nana (mommy was inside making dinner). Took some shots of the excursion. Super Cute!

Easter Egg Hunts

We took Gabriel to an Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Puyallup. It was so adorable. There were these little "Bunny Barns" for children under three. They had loads of fake (paper, not plastic) grass with handfuls of goodies in 'em. Gabriel didn't care too much about getting a lot of candy, in fact, he would have been perfectly fine with just the one tootsie roll. Best dollar we've spent.

Gabriel's 1 Year Pictures

Scanned the pictures from his 1 Year Old Shots. How cute and grown is he? So adorable.
